In this 6 week course, students will learn the content relevant to the curriculum for maths and their year group. We will cover addition, subtraction, division, multiplication amongst other various skills.

Description
Class Experience
Students will Improve their skills in addition subtraction multiplication and division including fractions and decimals and overall understanding of place value. We will use mastery maths to develop a deeper understanding and be able to apply skills to real life situations. Students are encouraged to learn in their own way using visualisation representations and manipulatives.
Every week learners will be given a relevant piece of work that they may wish to complete in their own time. This piece of work will be unmarked and therefore is optional.
Learners should come to class prepared with a pencil/ pen , paper or notebook, and an eraser. Learners may also come to class with various objects; blocks, buttons, biscuits or sweets or other small toys that they can count, divide etc
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Informal assessment will be sent to all parents at the end of the six week course.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
