Full Body Fitness: Exercise to Strengthen and Tone - With Core Focus

In this ongoing exercise class we will meet 2 times each week to build full body strength and endurance through targeted moves. This class will also build core strength and balance.

Class Experience

In this class your learner will meet other fitness enthusiasts while building self-confidence, core balance and overall strength.  Please have them come to class in comfortable workout clothes.  I also recommend water and a mat. 

We will be getting a full body workout two times a week. While feeling muscle tightness is normal and expected during a workout it is imperative that you listen to your body.  You should feel the burn an equal amount on both sides of your body.  If you feel any pain in the joints or only on one side of your body, back off and do the modification.  FORM is very very important.  If you feel your form starting to slip away, stop and regroup or go to the modification.

We will do a warm up and cool down during each exercise session.  Exercises and modifications will be demonstrated throughout the class to assure proper form. I will start off demonstrating the movement and then learners will be following the teacher/coach performing the exercises in real time.  I will be keeping a keen eye on each learner to be sure they are doing it correctly and offer modifications if necessary.  It is recommended to continue stretching after class as needed. 


If your learner is under a doctors care, please be sure your learner is clear to participate in core/cardio training.

Parental Guidance
Please have an open area free of dangerous objects. Also, keep an eye out for your learners safety at all times. I recommend an exercise (yoga) mat, a bottle of water and proper footwear. Students are encouraged to warm up at least 5 minutes before class. Injuries can occur if not properly supervised.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
