In my course, I have connected movement to our favorite music and characters from Frozen But even if your child does not follow the movies, this is an engaging and energetic dance class taught by a Certified Pilates and BalletTeacher. In this beginner drop-in class, learners will begin class with a warm-up dance. We will learn six foundational ballet techniques. Students will learn movement with a motion game. I will have a printable for continued re-learning at home. Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, Kristoff, and other friends will help us learn these new moves. Dancing to Frozen music, learners will be taught a fun, upbeat dance to the song, "Let it Go". No dance experience or exercise experience is necessary. No extra materials are required.
Learning Goals
Students will be introduced to 6 different ballet moves. Dancers will participate in the joy in movement as we learn choreography to a new dance.

Parental Guidance
Students will need a safe space to move in. We will have 1 water break, so a water bottle or drink nearby is helpful. We will have a gentle stretch at the beginning and end of class to ensure muscles are warm and ready to move.
Supply List
Comfortable clothes to wear. A yoga mat or beach towel for hard surfaces is encouraged but not required.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in Education from Brigham Young University-Idaho
I received a ballet scholarship in my Ballet training school in Idaho. I never fell out of love with Ballet and continued to incorporate dance in my life by teaching Beginning Ballet students for 3 years. In 2010, I received a Pilates certification and went on to run my own small Pilates business and I continue to teach students and friends of all ages. I love dancing, but my greatest joy is choreographing movement as an art form. I truly hope for learners to find grace, poise, and confidence in the movements they learn.
