We will reference “Frozen” as we discuss the three states of matter: solid, liquid, and gas. Through a series of discussion questions, I will help learners develop understanding of the states of matter by guiding them to ponder the forms that water can take, how water transitions between these states of matter, and if it can be returned to a previous state. Then, learners will get creative as they design and build a way to keep their snowman from melting in summer using recyclable materials. Learners are encouraged to bring a Frozen themed toy or object to share at the beginning of class if they would like to!
