In this Frozen themed class, students will practice counting, comparing numbers, addition an subtraction and will have a chance for show and tell at the end of class.

Using the characters and items from Frozen 1 and Frozen 2, this class will teach some of the main preschool and kindergarten math skills including identifying numbers, counting, comparing numbers, addition and subtraction. The teacher will first read the book "Olaf's 123" and will then play a Disney Princess counting song. The teacher will then go through a teacher made interactive presentation which will engage the students in activities to build their math skills. All the activities will use visuals from the Frozen movies. At the end of class, each student will have the opportunity to participate in show and tell by sharing their favorite frozen item.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to count to tell the number of objects.
Students will be able to compare numbers.
Students will be able to combine two groups of objects/pictures to add.
