Let it Go! in this beginner Frozen inspired Ballet Dance class will include a Ballet warm up to some favorite Frozen tunes and magical dance games!

Class Experience

During this class we will begin with fun and engaging exercises that will wake up and stretch our bodies.   In the first 10 minutes of class, each child will be able to introduce themselves one at a time and share one thing about themselves in order for us to get to know one another before we begin moving.  We will learn basic Ballet barre exercises as well as some Ballet Technique.  We will then work on movement through basic motor skills through various imaginative dance games.  We will...

Your child will learn beginner ballet dance steps in a creative learning environment.  They will also learn choreography to a short ballet dance which will teach them various patterns.  Dancing to music will also teach the student how to develop musicality.  And most of all, learn to have fun and enjoy movement!

There will be no homework assigned.  However, students are encouraged to share their love of dance and perform their special frozen dance to others.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely.  Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged.  Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back.  By signing up for this class you should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury.
