In this exciting class with fun and easygoing (and professional musician Mrs. Judy) we will learn how to read music note rhythms with a Frozen and Fairy Tale theme! We will have lots of fun while learning some creative ways to remember which notes receive 1/2 a beat, 1 beat, 2, 3 and 4 beats. Music rhythms of eighth notes, quarter, half, dotted half and whole note will be covered. Learners will be engaged with this class as they learn quickly then move on to play a Frozen Jeopardy Style...
Learn and demonstrate understanding with clapping of -eighth note -quarter note -half note -dotted half note -whole note
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
