Description

Class Experience

Students will walk away with a greater respect for high-altitude climbers, and learn the stories of many brave people who have attempted this feat.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class will refer to death a few times, as many climbers do die while trying to climb Mount Everest. We will not go into depth on causes of death, amount of people who die every year, etc., but it will be mentioned to paint an accurate picture of the reality of high-altitude mountain climbing. I will handle this topic sensitively.
