Understanding Structure Blocks in Minecraft: Students will explore the concept of structure blocks within the Minecraft universe. We’ll discuss their purpose and how they play a crucial role in creating intricate designs. 🏗️
Exporting 3D Models from Minecraft: Learners will learn how to export their Minecraft builds as 3D models. We’ll cover different file formats (GLB, STL, OBJ) and discuss where to save the exported models. 🎮➡️🖥️
Converting File Formats for 3D Printing: Students will understand the need for file format conversion when preparing models for 3D printing. We’ll use a free GLB to STL converter tool and discuss scaling and other considerations. 🔧🖨️

Small Bite-Sized Lessons: The class consists of three engaging lessons, each building upon the previous one. Learners can revisit any lesson as needed. 📖

 Revisit structure blocks as a file transfer system. 
Lesson 3:
Exporting & Converting File Formats for 3D Printing 🔧🖨️
 Learn how to export your Minecraft build as a 3D model.
Understand the need for file format conversion.
Discuss different file formats (GLB, STL, OBJ).
Use a free GLB to STL converter tool.

We use Minecraft Education and are able to provide account usernames if students don't have one.
Pre-Requisites
Students should have loaded Minecraft Education onto their device (we can provide them with account usernames if needed). They will also want to make an original build 🏡 and give themselves a structure block using /give @s structure_block
