Description
Class Experience
Students will be able to identify the stages in the life cycle of a pumpkin.
I have taught the life cycle of a pumpkin to kindergarten for the past 8 years and found that this is a great way to get students moving and learning at the same time.
No homework will be assigned.
Listening Ears Open Area for Movements (Does not need to be a very large open space, however enough to walk around in a small circle.) Happy Attitudes
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Informal assessment in class.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will be doing simple movements such as stretching, fetal position, crawling, standing, and moving their arms. Although they can do these movements in a limited space setting, it is recommended to have some space to move around in. The movements are not strenuous, but please be advised that we will be moving around on the ground and standing with our arms open wide.
