Class Experience

Beginner Level
In this awesome beginner's course, I'll be helping children learn some basic skills in scriptwriting to create a fun radio play script. They'll pick up valuable scriptwriting skills and learn how to bring their stories to life through voice acting and audio production. It's totally optional, but I'll show children how to develop and create a radio play using the free software called Audacity. Children who want to dive into the production work will need to download Audacity to follow along and learn basic editing skills to produce their radio plays. They will also have the opportunity to create their own sounds or use free sounds online with parent/guardian permission.

In my lessons, students can enjoy on-demand pre-recorded sessions where they can listen and follow along, taking notes at their own pace.
There are no live meetings, but you'll have access to weekly teacher support, and feedback for projects. We may also use Padlet to upload completed activities, access worksheets, or explore other resources.
