Beginner Level
In this interactive 40-minute class, students will learn how to turn their goals into daily habits using simple, proven strategies. We will explore the Habit Loop (Cue, Routine, Reward), Habit Stacking, and time-blocking to help students stay consistent and make progress. What will be taught? How habits are formed and why they matter The Habit Loop: Cue, Routine, Reward Habit Stacking: How to build new habits into your routine Time-blocking strategies for better focus and productivity How to stay motivated and adjust habits when needed How is the class structured? Brief introduction and discussion on habits and routines Guided breakdown of The Habit Loop and Habit Stacking Interactive activity: Students identify and build a new habit Reflection and discussion on how to apply what they’ve learned How will I teach? I use visual aids, slides, and guided discussions to break down concepts in a way that is easy to understand. Students will engage in interactive exercises and real-world applications to create a personalized habit plan. How much will learners interact? This is an interactive class where students will discuss, reflect, and participate in a guided activity to create their own habit-building plan. While participation is encouraged, students can engage at their own comfort level. Teaching Style: My teaching style is supportive and engaging, encouraging participation while allowing students to think critically about their own routines. I provide clear explanations, real-life examples, and a fun, encouraging environment to help students succeed. Special Note: Classes will not be cancelled due to enrollment, even if only one learner is registered. However, please be aware that the class may end earlier than the scheduled time if there is a single participant or if students have fewer questions. Time is generally allotted for multiple-learner interaction, and this can affect the overall length of the session when fewer learners attend. Thank you for understanding!
