Have you ever felt so overwhelmed with your daily tasks, stress, and peer pressure that you seem to just freeze up? Does it become almost impossible for you to filter through all of the information flooding into your brain and just choose a place to start? If so, I have the solution: the mighty thought download. In this class you will learn how to use this very simple yet highly effective method of processing and organizing your thoughts to de-clutter your mind and gain clarity and focus on the most important things. This is fully interactive. Students are encouraged to engage in group discussions and group response activities. Learners should be able to think about and write words and thoughts independently. You will be asked to record your thoughts on paper in different ways throughout the class. Your recorded thoughts will be kept private and are for your benefit only. You will not be asked to share any private thoughts that you write down as part of your thought download. This class is very beneficial for students with ADHD. Included with this course are several printable thought download templates so that you can use your new skill in your daily life whenever you need to. A thought download is an essential life skill that you will be able to use again and again to organize your thoughts and ease the stress of daily decision making.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their productivity by executing a thought download in which they will write down all of the thoughts in their head and then decided which thoughts are the most important to focus on.
