Class Experience
Ready to fall in love with painting? No painting experience is necessary.......Really! Just paint - a - long with Ms. Muse and by the end of class time, you will have created a masterpiece! To save a little time for the fun painting, we will all enter class with our paint already placed out, but will discuss the set up of the rest of our painting station together. CAMERAS will be asked to be ON during class for attendance purposes. As you know, Outschool classes are specifically for children. Per Outschool's policy, each painter must be registered separately. ___________________________________________________
1 file available upon enrollmentFROGS: ACRYLIC Paint Colors Craft paints such as Apple barrel or Craft Smart dry quickly and have many colors Generous amount of WHITE PINK ORANGE YELLOW BLUE GREEN WHITE BLACK * optional : Black Sharpie marker for small details once dry. ( After class ) • 11x14 surface such as Canvas /canvas panel /canvas paper /watercolor paper/thick multi- media paper/wood *Please note, the structure/ timing of the class is geared toward SPECIFICALLY 11x14 or smaller . This manageable size allows for ample time to work on each step, and for all levels of painters to enjoy success. • SHORT HANDLED brushes : (flexible, synthetic bristles please) • 3/4 “ or 1 " Flat wash brush •Medium sized ROUND brush ( size 8 ) with a point or flat /angled brush • Small Detail brush with a nice point. • 2 Bowls of water •EXTRA paper towels •Paper plate for paints and one for mixing. • A headset is recommended . SETTING UP YOUR PAINT STATION: Long hair should be tied back Paint flat on a protected table surface. Please position ALL supplies on SAME SIDE of table NEXT TO the hand you paint with . Computer/device to be faced directly ahead for head on viewing of student and painting.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
