Class Experience

In this 8-week book club we will read fun stories from "The Frog and Toad Treasury" or "Adventures of Frog and Toad" by Arnold Lobel.  Each week will include reading aloud (your child can participate in reading aloud as much or as little as they feel comfortable), fun discussions, games, and arts and crafts.  After reading, learners will engage in interactive discussion and then we will complete a fun game, art project or craft or both!  Ideally, students should be able to read "Frog and...

Learning Goals:
-Practice reading aloud with fluency and expression
-Following directions for guided projects and games
-Fun with Frog and Toad!!

In preparation for each meeting, your learner may want to read the stories ahead of time. (optional)

-Project supplies will be posted in the classroom at least 2-3 days prior to each class

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
