In this flex course, learners will read two Frog and Toad stories a week and participate in a mix of reading comprehension projects, journaling, discussion, art and poetry activities that coincide with the specific short stories.

Class Experience

Arnold Lobel's literary gift and creation of the classic characters Frog and Toad are timeless. Through their short story adventures, we learn the value of having a friend to lean on -- one who supports (and strengthens) daily struggles, helps us find humor in surprising places and has our best interests at heart.

Throughout this flex course, learners will be guided to read two specifically assigned short stories a week (it may or may not be obvious from the beginning why each week's stories...

This class is taught in English.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.

The following Arnold Lobel titles are needed for the duration of this five-week course (and can be accessed through a local library or purchased -- whatever works best for you!)
