The purpose of this class is to give students the opportunity to meet other people their age to build friendship skills. It's become important for children to have a way to socialize AND learn how to socialize well in online settings. In this activity, under the expert facilitation of an experienced educator and social & emotional learning (SEL) pioneer, students will be given opportunities to connect with others in a positive way. Focusing on encouragement instead of coercion, the facilitator will help the students engage in ways that bring out their unique strengths, honor the group as a whole, and help them feel capable and important. While the conversation in this class is English, it is also ESL friendly, appropriate for CEFR: A2, B1, B2, and beyond. Having learners from different countries and backgrounds helps expand our opportunities to connect with and respect others. ----- A NOTE ABOUT THE COST OF THIS CLASS: I know the price of my classes is higher than many others on Outschool.
