Class experience
Each week learners will explore new tools to help them build and maintain personal relationships. The tools will aide in self advocacy, managing emotions and communicating while being respectful of others. These skills often take a lifetime to build but learning them early and practicing is a great way to build confidence and emotional intelligence that will last into adult hood. I am a certified K-12 classroom teacher and have taught in both elementary and high school classrooms. In addition, I hold a Masters Degree in Educational Theater in Colleges and Communities. I have also used similar content for seven years, leading girl/grown-up workshops as a teaching artist and Senior Educator with Girls Leadership.
