Nothing scary about this Halloween camp! We are going to have a friendly time together. Each class will have Halloween themed activities to do with our new friends. Each class will start out with a welcome/introduction and show and tell. Participation is encouraged but not required. This camp is for FUN! Here are some ideas of what we will be doing each class: Class 1 This class we will be reading friendly Halloween stories together. Children will have a chance to predict what will happen and answer questions throughout the story. At the end we will go over comprehension questions! Class 2 Let's get ready to make some tasty treats! We will be making pumpkin patch dirt cups and cookie spiders together! Class 3 We will be learning to draw the easy way! Step by step we will draw a friendly ghost, pumpkin, cat and spider!
Learning Goals
Students will have the opportunity to make new friends, socialize with the teacher and other students, answer critical thinking questions, learn to draw as a group and test their treat making skills.

Parental Guidance
-Please be advised that a parents help may be needed during class, especially when we decorate our treats.
-If children have any allergies they are welcome to decorate anything else that they may have at home!

Class 2 will require: -chocolate pudding cup -oreo crumbs -pumpkin shaped candies -1 or 2 oreos -pretzel sticks -2 round candies Class 3 will require: -paper and something to draw with

Welcome!
When students are interested in what they are doing, learning they will WANT to learn! I hope that your students will love to learn and become lifelong learners. I want all children to feel comfortable, engaged, encouraged and have fun in my classes I have worked with students from ages 0-14 for over 20 years. I have held several other jobs than teaching which I adored but at this point this is my passion.
My teaching experience comes from multiple sources. Online I have taught thousands of children overseas to learn English through VIPKid. VIPKid (now VIPTeacher) is known for their vigorous standards and training. I have also taught for an elite online program, called Synthesis. Synthesis is an elite program created by the one of the founders of Ad Astra. (Ad Astra is the school that Elon Musk created at SpaceX.) I have also taught thousands of children right here on Outschool since 2020.
Offline teaching experience comes from teaching at a Montessori pre-school, teaching swim and gym classes, summer camps and Sunday school. I also have taught students with a wide range of mental and physical abilities. All students are welcome in my classes and I am willing to make accommodations if requested.
My education consists of a BA in psychology, a BA in Conflict Resolution, TESL, TEOFL, over 40 online teaching certificates, mental health first aid certification, and palliative care certification.
I have two children who are everything to me. I homeschool them and we love going on adventures together. In my spare time I love travelling, baking, camping, Disney, swimming, the beach, water activities, working out, reading and all things full of sparkle and glitter! You can always find me taking a course or earning some kind of certificate.
