Description
Class Experience
Students will learn strategies for completing specific assignments and applying mathematical strategies for problem-solving.
I am certified to teach math in grades 4-8, I have tutored students in math on Outschool for several months with very strong and positive feedback, and I have taught middle school students for over 20 years.
No homework is assigned.
Students should bring any assignments that need to be completed or explained to the classroom. If there are no assignments to be completed, students should be able to explain concepts that are in need of practice or reinforcement.
Students are assessed informally, through demonstration of applied steps for problem-solving.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
