Speaking and listening skills are critical for young learners. Show and tell allows students to be both - the speaker and the listener. In this class, each students will show us their favorite animal and tell us why they like that animal. They can also share any fun facts about that animal. The class will be discussion based where all students share and all students have the opportunity to ask questions. Agenda: - Greeting/How to be a good speaker and listener (10 minutes) - Show and tell (15 minutes) - Closing/Questions (5 minutes) If there is time leftover, we will play various listening and speaking games, such as Simon Says, Whole Group Storytelling, and Freeze Dance. Please let me know if your learners requires accommodations or aids so that I can make their class as enjoyable as possible! I hope to see you in class!
Learning Goals
