We all know there are two things Nancy loves most: being fancy and speaking French...but she also loves the holidays! Join me, a licensed French teacher and fellow Nancy lover, as we learn French-while being fancy of course!
Class experience
Bonjour! Do you love being Fancy like Nancy? Do you love to celebrate the holidays? If so, then you of course have to learn to speak some French! Join us in this 15 class course, which will be modeled after 7 Fancy Nancy books, which I am sure your Nancy lover has read. Each class, we will learn a particular group of words and phrases in French about a certain holiday Nancy experiences herself! Students will receive manipulatives and activities to complete along with the teacher during class....

Bonjour! I am Madame Heather and I am a licensed French teacher for ages preK-12. I have 15 years teaching experience in the classroom and over 5 years teaching experience online. I have a BA in French, an MA in Sociolinguitics, and I have lived in the south of France where I taught ESL. I am an engaging teacher who focuses first on making the student feel comfortable learning a new language in a natural way. I believe learning a language should be fun and I also like to use manipulatives to keep students moving during class. I look forward to helping your student expand their interest in francophone culture and language.
The teacher will send the students all of the activities and manipulatives prior to class. Please make sure students have them, coloring utensils, and glue/glue stick when requested prior to class by the teacher.
