Bonjour! My name is Laura. I am a native French speaker and I teach the class in French. I do translate as needed to help the learners to understand and memorize what they are learning. The class is for learners from 13 to 18 years old. All are welcome. It is recommended to take the same class Part 1 before starting this one as some references are made to it during our lessons. We will read, and work on comprehension, oral expression, and writing. I am a fun teacher, I have a lot of patience, and I like to encourage the students to speak. À bientôt! Meeting 1: Reading practice. Use Être (to be). Days of the week. IN and Faire verb. Review of what we have learned already. Meeting 2: Reading practice. Use Avoir (to have). Months and dates. AN and Manger verb. Review of what we have learned already. Meeting 3: Reading practice. Use Avoir and Être. Colors adjectives agreement. OI and Parler. Meeting 4: Conversation practice. Review of the unit and reading practice. Informal assessment of the end of the unit.
Learning Goals
The learning goal is to have the learners speak in full sentences with a wide variety of vocabulary.
Have the learners develop their reading and writing skills in the French language.
They will learn to speak with the proper intonation.
