Class Experience

A French language Summer camp for students with a little knowledge of French (beginners to intermediate) takes place over 4 days 

The aim of the class is for students to design their own summer vacation resort and describe it using the French language 

Day 1: vocabulary related to the topic of vacations & simple sentence reading 

Day 2: Discovering French vacation resorts and reading about their features, deciding where our imaginary vacation resort will be located and beginning to write a...

Learning goals: 
• Encourage creativity using the French language so that students are able to make their own sentences and describe something original that interests them in French
• To build up vocabulary related to the topic of vacations (nouns and verbs eg activities)
• To practice writing sentences using given writing templates
• To learn about French culture and how the French spend their family vacations

Quiet learning space, headset preferred, pencil and paper

3 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
