Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their French listening comprehension skills. Students will expand their French vocabulary. Students will have an opportunity to work on presentational speaking skills by sharing, in French, what they understood about the video. Students will learn about Francophone artists and discover musicians they will love!
I am a French teacher with a M.A in French and many years of professional development and learning surrounding how to teach language through music. I have taught these songs for over 10 years in public schools in the US with a "musique mercredi".
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
All videos are age-appropriate and have been shown to French language learners ages 12-15 in public schools. The videos do not contain any inappropriate lyrics or visuals. All videos have been previewed by myself, a certified teacher and mom.
