Students will learn to make the French macarons and improve their baking skills in their home kitchen.
Teacher Joy has been baking French macarons for over 10 years now. Mastering all 3 methods of baking the French macarons in her home kitchen. After baking and learning on her own for a while, she decided to travel to Paris just to learn how French macarons were made. Besides baking, she also love traveling, cooking and trying new food from around the world. She loves spending time teaching children and enjoy sharing her cooking and baking experiences and experiments with them.
Learners need a stand mixer or hand mixer, baking pans, parchment paper or silicone mats, piping bags, almond flour, eggs, confectioners sugar, gel food coloring, sifter, granulated sugar, cream cheese, butter, eggs, lemon juice (for lemon curd filling), rose or coconut extract if using. Recipe and full supply list will be posted in the classroom.
Parental guidance is recommended for younger students as we will be in the kitchen and there are hot appliances and other hazardous things in the kitchen. We want our students to be safe and having fun :).
