They will explore various themes while using games, songs and fun activities in a warm environment which promotes their language development. In this fun class , we will meet and begin our day with some fun movement. This class is perfect for eager learners who would like to learn French at a more intensive rate. It is taught twice a week, we focus on pronunciation, vocabulary and comprehension. Every class is packed with themes , songs and games to make learning fun and natural. Most of the class is conducted in French with some support in English -- at least at the very beginning to ensure learners understand! As we progress, the teacher will differentiate and adjust for various level, therefore new learners are always welcome and encouraged to join our classes. Weekly breakdown: Class 1 (Tuesday ) : We will go over calendar ,weather as well as a basic review of what we worked on the previous week. Then, we will work on French vocabulary through songs and games. We will learn about a weekly topic, on Tuesdays, we learn new vocabulary and songs in relation to our theme. Class 2 (Thursdays ): We will go over basics ( numbers, review words, colours, shapes etc) in French and we will continue to build on our week's theme in French vocabulary. This gives your learner more reinforcement and time to practice the words that we learned on Tuesday. Daily Class Format - Intros/Warm-up Introduction of topic and vocabulary Learning through a song Application - We practice what we worked on earlier Wrap-up/Goodbye More topics and themes will be added as needed per section. You do not need to follow these classes chronologically, you can join and cancel at any point! PROGRAM THEMES AND SCHEDULE: Week of Sept 5 th: Topic : Greetings - Les salutations Week of Sept 12 th: Topic : Colours - Les couleurs Week of Sept 19 th: Shapes - Les formes Week of Sept 26 th : Farm animals - Les animaux de la ferme Week of Oct 3 rd: Fruits - Les fruits (J'aime manger) Week of Oct 10 th: Family - La famille Week of Oct 17 th: L'automne - Fall Week of Oct 31 st: l' Halloween - Halloween ( We will only be discussing characters such as ghosts, witches, haunted houses etc) Week of Nov 7th: Insects - Les insectes Week of Nov 14th: Parts of the house - Les pièces de la maison Week of Nov 21st : Les actions - Actions (verbs) Week of Nov 28 th : Places - Les endroits Week Dec 5th : Les activités de l'hiver - Winter Activities I am very excited to meet your learner!!
