In this ongoing, interactive course I will help your child get comfortable with hearing and speaking French - either to prepare them for French immersion, a holiday or just for fun! We will use slides, games, songs and videos in our lessons. I will encourage your child to speak and sing along by creating a safe and friendly learning atmosphere. The class is structured as follows: - Greeting and talking (circle time) - Song - lecture - activities - videos/song - saying good-bye These are the topics of the upcoming weeks: Week 1: This is me! How to introduce yourself Week 2: The food I like Week 3: Animals Week 4: Sports and Activities No prior experience with French is required. I have taught French Immersion Kindergarten (Maternelle) in Canada and I homeschooled my Kindergarten son in French and German. Children learn new languages quickly through immersion and play!
