30 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this one-time, students will participate in a Halloween theme scavenger hunt to find various objects. This activity will allow them to be introduced to French in a fun manner. This class is designed for students who are beginners in French (no experience), but learners with a little bit of experience in French are welcome. Students will search for things related to Holiday or Winter theme objects in their house. The class structure will be as follows: Introduction (2 mins) Rules (3 mins) Scavenger hunt (20 mins) Wrap-up (5 mins) For this class, I will be using a Google Slide so students know exactly what to look for. Also, each slide will have the object they need to find, and the French word. This class will not focus on repetition, but it is a way for beginners, to be introduce to the language and for students who have experience, it will be a great way to review vocabulary. Additionally, due to Outschool policy, I will ask that students identify themselves on camera at the beginning of the session and they must have a working microphone to be able to partake in the lesson.
Learning Goals
Students will learn various french words related to Halloween and fall season.
