In this 3 week class, students will review the use and conjugation of common verbs while learning the difference between verbs at the first group, second group and third group and how this helps to determine which conjugation rule to use. We will also learn some common homophones and when to use them. These words that sound the same but are written differently often cause problems for learners of all ages. This class is taught in French.
I have been a teacher in a French school board for over 23 years. I am currently working as a special education resource teacher. I assist my students in French and in mathematics. I also teach French to adults.
After every lesson, one page of homework will be assigned. Learners must be able to understand written French in order to complete the assigned work. Homework can be printed and completed on paper or can be done directly on the Google document.
Learners must have access to Google docs and Google Jamboard.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Learners will be assessed informally with written feedback. If I feel the learner would benefit from a video to better explain a concept, I will send a video instead of written feedback.
