Students taking this class will be working towards the French 1 or French 2 accreditation in their school. I will advise if they are working at, above or below the required level and suggest what they can do to reach the level they are aiming for.Grading
I will give a pass or requires improvement comment for each piece of work. However, the students will be graded by their own school teachers. I have taught French 1 and French 2 for a US online school and have assessed the students at the end of the year, so I know the required standard to achieve French 1 and French 2 passes.Class Experience
US Grade 9 - 12
This class will be a revision of French grammar for learners who are in High School in USA. This is revision Bootcamp will fill in gaps in understanding how French grammar works. I will include some fun sentences and exercises in class. I will introduce the terminology, give the learners sample spoken sentences, followed by written practice, such as fill in the gap exercises and also longer written work. I will also supply some reading materials for classes. I will be running a Spoken French Bootcamp classes which can be taken alongside the French Grammar Bootcamp. Part 4. Verbs: The immediate future. Using the reflexive verbs. Week 1. 13th May. Day 1. Monday. The immediate future with aller. How to form the immediate future tense and when to use it. We use it when speaking and writing. Using the immediate future with -er verbs. Day 2. Tuesday. Using the immediate future with -ir and -re verbs. Day 3. Wednesday. Using the immediate future with common irregular verbs. Week 2. 20th May. Day 1. Monday. An introduction to the reflexive verbs. The reflexive verbs in the present tense. Making sure you say of write all 3 parts. Day 2. Tuesday. The reflexive verbs in the past tense. Making sure you say or write all 4 parts and make the necessary agreements. Day 3. Wednesday. The reflexive verbs in the Immediate Future tense. Making sure you say or write all 4 parts.
Learning Goals
The students will become familiar with using the Immediate Future tense to talk and write about events they plan to do in the future. They will recognise when a French speaker uses the Immediate Future tense to tell them about things they are going to do.
They will also be able to use the Reflexive verbs correctly and understand a French speaker when they use these verbs.

I have experience of teaching students with a variety of unique learning needs. Please inform me of needs on enrolment, so that I can supply worksheets with extra scaffolding and allow extra processing time if needed.
Supply List
A French dictionary and course book containing grammar and vocabulary notes will be useful. A notebook or other means of recording will also be useful. I will provide Grammar notes and worksheets for assignments for each class.
