French Grammar Bootcamp for High School Students. Part 4. Future+Reflexive Verbs

Class
Kim Wark B.A. French.
Average rating:4.9Number of reviews:(157)
In this 2 week course we will look at French Verbs in the Immediate Future Tense and the Reflexive Verbs. We will have spoken and written practise, so that your learner will become more confident using this tense and type of verbs.

Class experience

US Grade 9 - 12
The students will become familiar with using the Immediate Future tense to talk and write about events they plan to do in the future. They will recognise when a French speaker uses the Immediate Future tense to tell them about things they are going to do.
They will also be able to use the Reflexive verbs correctly and understand a French speaker when they use these verbs.
I have a B.A. Joint Honours degree in French and English form Leeds University. I have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education for teaching French at secondary level (11-18 years old).
I have taught French to students aged 4-18, including exam classes (British GCSE and A level). I have recent experience of teaching French 1 and French 2 for a US online school via Outschool. I assessed the students for French 1 and French 2 accreditation.
Homework Offered
Written work will be assigned after each class. I will check work for correctness and comment if it is at or above the level students are working towards. I will suggests how they can improve their work to reach the level they are working towards.
1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students taking this class will be working towards the French 1 or French 2 accreditation in their school. I will advise if they are working at, above or below the required level and suggest what they can do to reach the level they are aiming for.
Grades Offered
I will give a pass or requires improvement comment for each piece of work. However, the students will be graded by their own school teachers. I have taught French 1 and French 2 for a US online school and have assessed the students at the end of the year, so I know the required standard to achieve French 1 and French 2 passes.
I have experience of teaching students with a variety of unique learning needs. Please inform me of needs on enrolment, so that I can supply worksheets with extra scaffolding and allow extra processing time if needed.
A French dictionary and course book containing grammar and vocabulary notes will be useful. A notebook or other means of recording will also be useful.
I will provide Grammar notes and worksheets for assignments for each class.
