Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn to use basic French salutations to greet each other and the most important subjects/verbs of words to identify objects/actions which could lead to conversation. Students will also learn basic French culture.
I have been studying French since I was in 6th grade. I loved it so much that I became a French major in college and studied abroad in France two times in Paris and Nice. Then I became an "au pair" or nanny in France for 3 boys for 6 months. I also lead a middle school group of students to Northern France for 4 weeks. I have been back to Paris and France multiple times with friends and family since these experiences. In fact, my husband proposed to me in front of the beautiful Fontainebleau castle in France! I said "OUI" (yes) of course! I also held a French afterschool club in my public school and taught French to adults last in a night program. I love anything French especially fashion, macaroons, and just it's "joie de vivre".
There is no homework but to learn and speak the language more confidently, it is suggested to review the materials or video for practice
Materials will be sent for each class to download for review. Crayons, markers, pencils, paper are useful for drawing our craft activities for specific classes
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
