This class is taught in French.
I have a Master's degree in French, a C2 level in French (Native Speaker level), and I have taught French for more than 15 years. I started learning French at the age of 9 when I travelled to France on my own to stay with a French family for a couple of weeks. At school and university, I continued my studies at an advanced level and taught in France. In Canada, I taught at a French first-language school (Grade 5 - 6).
The learners will receive additional learning materials such as PDFs, online quizzes or creative tasks to work on as asynchronous work. It is not mandatory to do the work, but regular revision of vocabulary in particular will help to have the best learning outcome when studying languages.
Learners might need a pen and some paper to take notes or draw during class, and they can also use any other digital note-taking app.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
In this class, we will occasionally use Nearpod and Kahoot Quizzes through a link that the teacher shares with the learner. The learner will not need to sign in. In addition, we might use a Google document for written assignments and vocabulary. Occasionally, the teacher will share educational, appropriate youtube videos to provide additional material.
