Bienvenue and welcome to French Focus! In French Focus classes, we will set a strong foundation for French language learning by focusing on key vocabulary and grammar. Each French Focus will focus on a different skill, so students can progress through foundational French at their own pace. French Focus classes are specifically geared towards Elementary Learners who have little to no French experience. Each class assumes no prior knowledge. In French Focus: Colors, we will learn the colors in French using fun activities such as clay and digital games. Learners will also learn how to make simple sentences using the sentence "C'est (couleur)" (It is (color)). Advanced learners will learn to describe specific nouns using color, as time allows. I teach via Google Slides and direct conversation. Vocabulary will be reinforced through games and repetition. I teach in English but encourage students to speak French from our very first class. This class has a wide age range because it can be adjusted to meet a student's level. If students of very different ages register in the same section, I may: -ask learners to transfer to another section with other students their age -attempt to teach to both skills but will spend time on foundational French for the younger learner -offer a refund À bientôt!
