Montre Et Raconte Avec Mme. Monique In this ongoing course, students will be given a theme each week and they must bring along an item(s) related to that topic to share with the class. *** Parents please review the themes below so your child may participate with the class discussion. We will start the lesson with each child introducing themselves in French so that we can all get to know each other. Following introductions, the teacher will show 5 objects related to that weeks' topic and teach the nouns in French. Pictures, video clips, visualisations such as slides and illustrations from books will also be used. This is a fun class for young learners who are new to the French language and enjoy socializing. It is perfect for those looking for an outlet to share and be vocal in a classroom setting. A wonderful chance to practice public speaking in an effort to increase French converational skills. Student participation is highly encouraged but children will not be forced to speak. No prior French knowledge is needed. Suitable for beginners with little to no exposure to the language. English will be used from time to time to ensure the learners understanding. The weekly themes are listed below.
