Students will learn immersive-style French through speaking and reading. The strong focus is on asking and answering basic questions about themselves and their immediate surroundings. Additionally, students will demonstrate needs and wants with the extension into cultural tidbits, creative thought, problem solving, and theoretical perspective, i.e., imagination. While grammar is not overtly taught, topics practice includes exposure to:

I have taught French at all levels from middle school to college since 1995. I have designed online language courses since 1999. I believe online learning is an effective way to learn a language, both as a teacher and a learner. While I have designed this course to be a paced course, it offers flexibility to work at a learner's pace within the weeks to accommodate students' learning preferences and schedules.
