Class Experience
This 1-1 course will encourage students to speak French with confidence. Communication is fun in a spoken language. My teaching style is engaging and participatory. I strive to create a learning environment that has a serious and comfortable sense of purpose. students should have taken one or more years of French classes. Students should come to class with an assignment or a topic that needs practice- speaking, grammar, reading, writing etc. I can help with homework or to review any topic...
Students will improve their understanding of various French words and phrases, grammatical concepts, and will improve in receptive and expressive communication.

Learner progress is assessed by the student's increased knowledge and comfort level in the material discussed. There will be time at the end of each class for a question and answer session. We will have fun speaking French and taking risks in a safe environment. I have taught French for over 30 years and I love helping reluctant learners gain confidence in their speaking ability.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
