In this ongoing conversation club, students will practice their French speaking skills with language games and conversations about every day topics. Learners need to have some knowledge of French.

Class Experience

Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this ongoing club, students will learn and develop their French speaking skills, by practicing all areas of the language through fun and interactive activities. Each week, a new topic will be covered; in the first meeting, students will practice how to introduce themselves and talk about their background.
The following weeks the lessons will include themes such as talking about likes and dislikes, describing physical characteristics in animals and people, recognizing and learning character traits, describing different activities and communities, among other topics. Some sessions, the instructor or the students will read easy short paragraphs followed by reading comprehension through conversations

Weekly topics :
May 6 Week 1 : L'introduction - Talking about oneself/ describing and talking about likes and dislikes
May 13 Week 2 : La nourriture - Talking about food/ creating questions to ask about food and restaurants
May 20 Week 3 : Les Vacances : Talking about a vacation in the future tense
May 27 Week 4 : Les Animaux domestique : Talking about animals and pets
June 3 Week 5  : Daily Routine: How is our typical day like
June  10 Week 6 : Les activités en été- talking about summer activities
June  17 Week 7 : La Mode et Shopping : Role play in a shopping mall
June  24 Week 8 : Making plans : Creating a conversation to make a plan with friends

Class structure: 
1. Icebreaker 

Greet students in French (“Bonjour, comment ça va?”)
Simple question of the day (e.g., Quel est ton plat préféré ?)

2. Themed Vocabulary & Phrases 

Introduce a theme of the day (e.g., travel, food, hobbies, school)
Teach key vocabulary & useful expressions
Use visuals, gestures, or props for engagement

3. Interactive Activity

Learning Goals

Students will increase their vocabulary and practice using their previous learned skills.

Pre-Requisites
Learners should have the knowledge of basic French words and should be able to comprend basic greetings, months, dates, numbers , avoir. etre verbs
