French Conversation and Pronunciation

This tutoring session is designed for students who have at least a basic understanding of French and want to improve their speaking skills. Students will move beyond classroom French, learning how to speak the language as it’s truly used in everyday conversations in France—practicing real-world vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, and cultural context. A primary focus of this class is on pronunciation, where students will work closely to develop an authentic French accent. Together, we will tackle common pronunciation challenges, with personalized techniques to help them place sounds correctly and confidently, pronounce tricky vowels, nasal sounds, and consonants.

In addition to mastering pronunciation, the course will focus on capturing the natural speed and rhythm of French speech, helping students develop a more fluid, sing-song flow to their conversations. The class will also emphasize listening comprehension, giving students the tools to understand spoken French with greater ease and respond with confidence. This course is perfect for students who may feel unsure about their accent, speed, or comprehension and want to feel more comfortable speaking French naturally and fluently.
