Description
Class Experience
Students will get an introduction to the French language and culture and see how alike and different it is to the English language
I have been studying French since I was in 6th grade. I loved it so much that I became a French major in college and studied abroad in France two times in Paris and Nice. Then I became an "au pair" or nanny in France for 3 boys for 6 months. I also lead a middle school group of students to Northern France for 4 weeks. I have back to Paris and France multiple times with friends and family since these experiences. In fact, my husband proposed to me in front of the beautiful Fontainebleau castle in France! I said "OUI" (yes) of course! I also held a French afterschool club in my public school and taught French to adults last year in a night program. I love anything French especially fashion, macaroons, and just it's "joie de vivre".
Occasionally I will download templates or a craft for us to make
4 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
