Every student is called on during class for proper pronunciation, and to practice sentence forming.Class Experience
In this 4-session class, we will learn how to form basic sentences in French. We will meet twice weekly, 45 minutes, for 2 weeks. This class is accessible to total beginners, so no prior knowledge of any French is needed. We will still reach the goal of making a full sentence and understanding very basic vocabulary and grammar. The lessons will be presented through slides which will be shared as a file in the classroom page. The lessons will be scheduled as follows: Week 1 - feminine & masculine, determinants - common nouns (people, objects, places, etc) Week 2 - verbs être & avoir (to be, to have) - expressing feelings, making sentences
Learning Goals
Students will learn to make complete sentences in French using verbs and nouns.

I was born in Paris and moved to California as a teenager. My passion is learning about different cultures and languages.
With a BA in Anthropology from UC Berkeley, I have worked as a French and Spanish teacher. Throughout my life, I also worked and lived with Spanish speakers. My travels have repeatedly taken me to Spain, Peru and Ecuador; along with 7 years of classes, I achieved complete fluency in the Spanish language.
I love sharing my passion for language and culture, and seeing my students learn is the biggest reward.
My belief is that we learn best when we have fun, so I while I am serious about lesson plans, I try to make it the best experience possible.
