Bonjour! My name is Laura. I teach the class in French and I do translate as needed to help the learners to understand and memorize what they are learning. The class is for children from 9 to 13 years old. All are welcome. Taking Unit 1 is recommended before joining this class. I am a fun teacher, I have a lot of patience, and I like to encourage the students to speak. À bientôt! Summary: Day 1: The reading practice of the vowels and the days of the week. Weather expressions. Day 2: The months of the year and the date of the day. Reading practice. Day 3: The numbers explained. Counting practice. Reading practice. Day 4: Reading practice and review of the unit.
Learning Goals
They will learn vocabulary and practice reading in French. How to pronounce the letters and the combination of letters.
They will learn to read and speak French with the proper intonation.
