Class Experience

Students will learn reading comprehension strategies including but not limited to: 
- prediction
- summarizing 
- making inferences
I have my Bachelor in Education (with distinction). I graduated high school with my "certificat de langue maternelle" (French mother tongue certificate) and I live in a fully bilingual environment. I am currently completing my Master of Education.
Independent weekly reading.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students will be expected to review each chapter prior to coming to class. They will be given tools to create lists of new words, and together we will turn these lists into a visual vocabulary portfolio. Reading should take less than 1 hour per week.
