In this class, we will go over French vocabulary about people (ex.woman, boy, family, etc.) as well as
time (ex.time of day, days of the week, months, seasons) and places (ex. school, store, beach, etc) and learn basic verbs.
Class experience
This class covers basic French vocabulary related to people, times, and places. We will first learn how to spell and pronounce words such as woman, girl, boy, man, and family members. Then we will go over words describing different times of day, days of the week, months, and seasons. After that we will learn a few words about common places (ex. school, market, beach, park, etc.). Finally, using the verb 'to go', each student will form a sentence of their own to describe a person, or...
The goal is for students to learn the vocabulary needed to form a sentence describing themselves going somewhere (ex. home) at a certain time (ex. in the evening).
I am a native French speaker and have done a lot of tutoring and teaching French to kids. My strategy is to engage the student and make it as pleasant and fun as possible, so that learning comes naturally.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
