This is an ongoing class that will address different themes that will resonate with students who are beginning to learn French. Each individual class within this ongoing class will address different themes. It is best for students to learn a new language by learning vocabulary and sentence structure thorough a common theme. Learners in this class will be introduced to grammar rules as well as pronunciation cues as they learn about different topics. This class will meet once per week for 45 minutes. Here is the theme breakdown for the first 4 weeks of this class: Week 1Topic: Numbers Week 2 Topic: Grammar rules Week 3: Using simple verbs to talk about the days of the week and the months of the year Week 4: How do we talk about the weather?
Learning Goals
Students taking these classes will be able to:
-understand French vocabulary as it relates to a topic
-with support, read and speak basic sentences related to the week's topic
