This class is a review of the first 4 French 101 lessons: 1. Alphabet and Numbers 2. The Days of the Week 3 The Months and Seasons 4. The Weather We will revisit the vocabulary and sentences studied so far. Students will have lots of opportunity to practice pronouncing and using vocabulary. Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the material for clarification. After completing this class, students will be able to: -independently translate English vocabulary to French -use the vocabulary in sentences being modeled -improve their sentence fluency
I have taken 4 university level French courses and I have taught French in the public school system for several years.
No homework; however, students should seek opportunities to practice the sentences and vocabulary we have learned.
A review document will be provided that covers previously covered topics.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Assessment will be informal.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
