In this one time class, students will learn how to describe a house.

Class Experience

Beginner Level

Learners for this class should have already taken the "Using Prepositions" class as this class builds off that one. This is the first class of two parts. In this class, students will learn vocabulary related to the rooms of a house as well as items that are found in a house.  
House vocabulary will include:
-kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, dining room, etc. 
Vocabulary related to the items in a house include:
-oven, sink, fridge, microwave, bed, toilet, etc..

After completing this class students will:
-be able to name the rooms of a house
-be able to list several items in a house
-be able to use simple sentences to talk about items found in the house

I have taken 4 university level French courses and I have taught French in the public school system for several years.

A handout will be provided.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
