Class Experience

This class should not be considered an introductory lesson. The material is too advanced for students who have not taken most of the previous lessons in this beginner course.

In this one-time class, students will be introduced to vocabulary relating to items and activities at home. Many of the verbs introduced are reflexive verbs and this is the first time students will be exposed to reflexive verbs. Some of the verbs to be studied include:
-se réveiller (to wake up)
-se lever (to get up)
-se laver (to wash)
-se browser (to brush)
-manger (to eat)
-aller (to go)

Students will learn how to describe their daily activities from the time they wake up until bedtime.
I am a very laid-back teacher who is very patient. Students are expected to participate orally and will be given many opportunities to do so.

Learning Goals

After completing this class, students will be able to:
-use vocabulary to talk about common items in their home
-be able to use several verbs to discuss their daily activities
