Description
Class Experience
French 1 for Beginners is intended to be a starting point to learning about French language and culture. The main language of the sessions is French and all students are encouraged to practise the language with myself and each other as much as possible within the Outschool classroom area, however they may wish to ask some questions in English in order to help their understanding of language or topics. I will respond in the classroom, either with text or a short video to assist with any...
I have been teaching languages in high schools for almost 20 years. I have a degree in French and Italian Studies, and I'm a qualified teacher. My qualifications can be viewed on my profile. I have also lived, worked and travelled in France and Italy.
In between sessions, learners should allocate some time (30-45 minutes) to review their notes, learn key vocabulary and complete any tasks as required. The best method to learn a new language is to practise 'little and often'.
I will supply all resources via video links or in the classroom area. Learners will need basic stationery for studying during and after class.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
