In this introductory class, I will show you the basics of fractions. We will identify fractions, shade them, breakdown and review fractions with examples and visuals. I will provide a check list so you can follow along with each skill set.

Description
Class Experience
Students will be able to identify fraction as common, improper or mixed. Students will be able to compare fractions with like and unlike denominators and students will be able to use operations to compute basic equations.
Students will be provided outside resources to practice the concepts learned in class.
Students will be provided with free accounts to the websites listed. I will give all directions on how to access sites and how to use them.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will be given short quiz to assess knowledge before and after class as review.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
